Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the assigned area to detect and deter unauthorized access, suspicious activities, or security breaches. 2. Access Control: Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and controlling access to restricted areas as per company policies and procedures. 3. Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and maintain order. 4. Report Writing: Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities accurately and thoroughly in written reports. 5. Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner. 6. Safety Measures: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, including fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and hazard recognition. 7. Equipment Operation: Operate security equipment such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and communication devices proficiently. 8. Collaborative Efforts: Coordinate with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and other security personnel as needed to resolve security issues effectively. 9. Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills in security procedures, crisis management, and conflict resolution. 10. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular assessments of security risks and vulnerabilities, recommending and implementing proactive measures to mitigate potential threats. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in security-related fields is preferred. - Valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations. - Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is advantageous. - Strong observational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. - Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods. - Proficiency in using security equipment and computer applications.
